it's for real

So I have been contemplating for a long time whether to publish this domain or not. There were many reasons why I hadn't done it sooner, but today, it felt right. Out of fear of judgement, obvious costs, maintenance of the blog, etc. But again, today felt right.

As a very amateur videographer learning with a pretty shitty camera, but the more I do it, the more I realize two things.

1)Doing is always better than not doing (1>0). Creating videos for myself or friends and family makes me so happy. Being able to share this with whomever wants to view it really gets me warm inside. Now that I have lived in South Korea for 2.5 years, backpacked for 3 months and went back home to Sault Ste. Marie for 9 months, I feel that what I am doing is pretty special. And I realized when I was at home for that short time, that I had lost a lot of connections with friends and family because of my absence from home. At first, if you have read the earlier blog posts, it disappoint me, but having reflected on my journey thus far, it needed to happen.

This time, back in the SK, I will be having a fuller year! A year filled with awesome stuff everyday! This will give my friends and family at home a better glimpse of what my life is actually like living in South Korea. I don't think I did you justice the first time I was here.

2)Patience! This blogging, vloging, snapchat, instagram, Facebook stuff takes time. Not only does it take time to produce, edit, post, engage, etc., but it also takes time for people (my audience) to catch the vibes I want to give out. I know that if I stay consistent and work hard with my documenting on all platforms, that I will be able to what I love to do for forever... TRAVEL.

For my fellow travelers, backpackers, wanderers, nomads, vegabonds, adventurers... KEEP FUCKING GOING!

If we can inspire even one more person to take that initial jump to see what it's all about, then we have CHANGED THE WORLD.
