Healing Cafe (2 minute read)

Korea is filled with various unique cafes. From archery, to escape rooms, to healing cafes.

Basically a healing cafe is a lounging area where you drink coffee, eat some dessert and relax. for 9,900 Won, you can get a 30 minute massage in a massage chair, and 1 and a half hours of relaxing with friends or reading.

Here is the healing cafe in Seohyeon. It is located on the 3rd floor. Head out exit 3 or 4 and walk straight out. It is above the everything store near Kyobo!

Once inside, you can place your shoes in the small shoe boxes and then prepare to order.

We chose the 30 minute massage, 1 and half hour relaxing time with an extra 30 minute massage add one for an extra 4,000 Won. You also can get a drink such as coffee or tea incuded in that price.

After you pay, you can enter the lounge area and wait for your coffee and relax.

You can sit in any of these free areas. They also have books if you can read Korean ;)

Or you can bring your own.

The staff at the front will give a button when you first walk in too and once it is time for your massage, your button will go off.

You can choose 1 of 7 settings on the massage chair that the staff will help you with.

I chose 30 minutes of deep tissue and 30 minutes of stretching.

After this massage, I was truly relaxed and refreshed.

After your massage, you will have some more time to relax and chill in the lounge until your time expires.

I personally think that it was one of the best 13,000 I have ever spent!

If you have time and you are in Korea, or plan on visiting, you should 100% visit a healing cafe!
