Heavy Pollution in Seoul

So the past two days have been extremely bad for pollution here in South Korea.
You can see by this map how insane it really is.

People are highly encouraged to stay inside. For those who must go outside, you should 100% wear a mask.

One thing Korea has done to combat the pollution is offering free public transit to encourage those who drive to not drive on these days.

I read an article recently that ranked South Korea in the top 10 most polluted countries in the world. This is one thing that we have to accept and deal with living in Seoul.
Most days, the pollution isn't bad at all. And as I am writing this, I am watching the pollution meter go down by the minute. South Korea is still an incredible country and pollution usually isn't an issue, but again today it is.
As I reflect on this extremely high pollution today, I can't help think about how grateful I am to have grown up in Canada where pollution is not perfect, but much less. It is always nice to look up a clear blue sky knowing that you are breathing in fresh air.
If there is something that we as PEOPLE can take away from this heavily polluted day, is that we still only have ONE EARTH... and we need to take care of it. No matter where we are on this EARTH, it is still our #EARTH. This means a little less meat (or no meat... I know I am a hypocrite) , the 3 R's, turn off your water and lights when not using them, stop buying high end fashion products... etc. We hear it all the time, but it's time to start taking more action.
We hear about all of these natural disasters happening more and more. And it will only continue to change our lives for the worst if we don't all take action towards create less pollution and making a better lives for the future of the children today.
What have you done today to make the world a better place tomorrow?
