So whether you will be working with children in Victoria, Australia or not, your employer may require you to get a "Working With Children Check."
It is a fairly simple process but actually gave me some problems as I did not know to apply through the Australian Post Office.
Here are the steps to applying and getting your "Working With Children Check" in Victoria.
Step 1
Go to http://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/utility/home/
Step 2
Click the "Apply for Check" as shown below.

Step 3
After you click that you will be directed to this page where you should click "Apply in Victoria" as shown below.

Step 4
Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click "Start Application" as seen below.

Step 5
Follow each page and fill it in correctly. I trust you know all of your information.
Step 6
This is one of the most important steps, as this is where I was confused the first time.
Click "Verify my identity at Australian Post Office." You will not be able to verify online if you are not an Australian citizen.

Step 7
You will receive an email with a bar code that you must take the an authorized Australian Post office. You can Australia Post at 13 76 78 and find which one can complete the check for you that is closest to your area. If you are near the CBD, there is one at 271 Collins.
*Before you go to the post office, make sure to bring 2 pieces of ID. I brought my passport and my visa referral letter. But they also asked for my debit card as a piece of ID as well.
Once you have your 2 pieces of ID and your bar code, you are set. Bring it in and they will process it.*
If you are a volunteer, it will be FREE. If you are doing it for an employer, it will cost $123.40. Hopefully your employer will pay for it. If not, save the receipt and try to write it off from your taxes.
Once it is processed, you just wait and it will be mailed to the address you set in your application.
Happy working holiday folks!
